Our Chicken Thighs have bone in and skin on. This improves the flavor and helps keep the juicy goodness in while cooking. If you want to be boneless and skinless, then you are free to do this in your own time.
We primarily use our Cornish Cross breed for individual packages of Chicken pieces and parts.
As you can imagine, beyond the basic Chicken processing, it requires more time for us to cut up and package individual pieces and parts. The extra cost is simply to cover the extra time required for us to do this value-added convenience for you. In general, we have very little time for this value-added option and produce a limited supply.
In addition to what they find on the pasture, the Chickens used for pieces and parts, are supplemented with Ben's Hens Standard Feed. See the Feed page for more information about Feed.
